WHAT IS PROG NIGHT?

Most of the time, the bar jukebox is dedicated to the hits of today and yesterday, to classic rock, country, or today's top forty.

On Prog Night, we bring out the bands you rarely hear on the radio.  Or if you do hear them, you hear only their short songs.  We play the longs.

Yes, early Genesis, Marillion, Jethro Tull, Rush, Emerson Lake & Palmer, Steven Wilson, Porcupine Tree, Mars Volta, Opeth, Fish, Adrian Belew, Gentle Giant, Iluvitar, Edison's Children, you get the idea.

Do we take a requests?  A few.  I mean, if a song is 20 minutes long, one gets through only so many requests.

Where is it?  At The Tavern Off Broadway, a hidden little gem of a place in Bedford, Ohio, at the corner of Broadway and Woodrow, behind Gionino's Pizza.

Next PROG NIGHT is May 22 at The Tavern Off Broadway

The next Prog Night will be May 22, 2013 from 5pm to 10pm at The Tavern Off Broadway.  The Tavern is located at 11 Woodrow, Bedford, Ohio, right behind Gionino's Pizza at the corner of Broadway and Woodrow in downtown Bedford.
